American literature between World Wars

After World War I., a group of writers known as the "Lost generation" entered literature. They were writers who were influenced by the war; some of them were on the service in the Army, like Hemingway or Dos Passos. Their experience resulted in disillusion. Some of the best writers were Ernest Hemingway and Francis Scott Fitzgerald.
